▶ Multiscale analysis

Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system, and it is a highly multidisciplinary field that combines the study of molecular, circuit, and system-level mechanisms, using cutting-edge analysis techniques. Neuroscience contains multiple levels of studies from microscale, which studies a single neuronal level, to the macroscopic study that explores large-scale brain organization. In the end, it tries to explain human cognition and behavior based on the neural and macroscopic brain patterns. So, systems neuroscience now can address the human brain in a hierarchical manner, from neuronal to microcolumn and large-scale networks. Therefore, we try to construct a framework to link macroscale connectomes to microcircuit neural dynamics, and furthermore to gene expressions.
